Guidance and Spiritual Growth

Morning

Habakkuk 2:19
Woe to him who says to wood, ‘Come to life!’ Or to lifeless stone, ‘Wake up!’ Can it give guidance? It is covered with gold and silver; there is no breath in it.

Afternoon

John 14:26
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

This morning pray that God will grow you spiritually. Pray that He will disciple you today and that you will learn spiritual truths today.

Pray like this today:

Father, allow your Spirit to guide me today. Please, guide my actions and my words. Let everything I do and say be done and spoken through you. I want to grow closer to you today and I want to look more like you to the world. Please, Father, give me your guidance today.

Evening

Hebrews 6:1-2
Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, instruction about cleansing rites, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.

Tonight make sure that you pray these hopes:

1. That God would grow your knowledge of Him and His word (the Bible).

2. That God would not allow you to fall back into sinfulness.

3. That you would study the Bible and be able to understand it’s meanings and apply to your life.
