Day 5
An Extreme Need
Morning
Philippians 4:6
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
Afternoon
Hebrews 4: 16
Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Evening
Joshua 1:7
Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to do according to all the law that Moses my servant commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go.
This morning focus on an extreme of yours. Pray like this:
Father, please hear me. I need you today. I cannot do this (extreme need) alone. If I try to do this without you, I’ll fail. I need your power, grace and mercy. Father, please hear the cries of your servant today.
When you pray today:
Pray with confidence
Pray with humility
Pray with a steadfastness
Pray as though you know
that God hears you
That you are His child
That He loves you
As you prepare your night prayer keep this in mind:
God knows what is best and He is working out all things for our good. He is in control of our situations and nothing passes without His permission. Have faith that He is moving in a good way, even if it doesn’t necessarily feel like He may be.
